Oliver Ellsworth (Connecticut) Signed Manuscript Document

Manuscript Document Signed October 9th, 1776 Pay Order for clothing and saltpetre (for making gunpowder) for the Connecticut Militia. He was also a Lt. Colonel in the Continental Army.  He was nominated by George Washington to the office of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
