Remington New Model 1858 Army .44 caliber revolver. Serial # is only 14 digits from one identified to Co. A 13th Missouri Volunteer Cavalry. There is also an I’d on the trigger guard. The initials “P. F. R.”. “1865” A roster of this Company should show a “P. F. R.” This is a war time manufactured weapon. Tight action, indexes well. Iron is smooth and void of rust.
